Free Pocket Panda Crochet Pattern: Step by Step Instructions

Head and Body (Make 2)

Start with White yarn.
Row 1: Ch 11, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (10 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 2-12: Sc in each st across (10 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 13: Dec, sc in next 6 sts, dec (8 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 14: Dec, sc in next 4 sts, dec (6 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 15: Dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec (4 sc). Fasten off.

Ears (Make 4 in Black)

Row 1: Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (4 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Dec, dec (2 sc). Fasten off.

Arms (Make 4 in Black)

Row 1: Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (4 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 2-3: Sc in each st across (4 sc). Ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Dec, dec (2 sc). Fasten off.

Legs (Make 4 in Black)

Assembly

1. Attach eye patches to the front panel.
2. Insert safety eyes through the patches and the front panel.
3. Embroider the nose and mouth with black thread on the front panel.
4. Place the front and back panels together. Using white yarn, sc around the outside to join them together, stuffing firmly as you go.
5. Sew the ears, arms, and legs onto the body.
